Ken Robinson Blog

I really enjoyed this video. It seems like they were having a good conference. He is exactly right about the schools putting arts and imagination on the low end of the hierarchy. The arts are very important in my opinion and it's sad that they are slowly but surely being removed from the school systems.

I enjoyed what he said about the choreographer of CATS. The doctor said that there was nothing wrong with her, simply she was a dancer. A lot of times, students, who are diagnosed with this learning disability or this mental handicap, simply need to be approached in a different way. Not every student learns from lectures and note taking.

  1. Too many diagnosed with an ailment and too many ailments "discovered."
